About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join their team in Sheffield . This hybrid role involves supervising a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of daily operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching. You will provide leadership and guidance to your team, contributing to a safe and productive work environment while also having opportunities to engage in remote planning and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily operational targets.
• Ensure all warehouse activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and accurately.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve productivity.
• Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Train and mentor new team members on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain communication with management regarding team performance and operational challenges.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Lead or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, and shipping procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
