Warehouse Team Leader

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to supervise and guide a team of warehouse operatives in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of a warehouse team, ensuring operational targets are met.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in accordance with health, safety, and security procedures.
• Assist in managing inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and dispatch processes within your designated area.
• Report on team performance and operational status to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or in a similar supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, based in Reading .
