Warehouse Team Leader

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their facility in Norwich . You will be responsible for overseeing a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring that all tasks related to order processing, dispatch, and inventory management are carried out efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong leadership skills, a good understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to foster a productive and safe working environment. The hybrid nature of this role allows for flexibility while ensuring essential on-site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
• Oversee the efficient execution of order picking , packing, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure accuracy in inventory management and assist with stock counts and reconciliation.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Monitor workflow and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on procedures and best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations , including inventory control and logistics.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities.
