Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyse water supply networks, wastewater systems, and surface water drainage solutions.
• Conduct flood risk assessments and develop strategies for flood defence and mitigation.
• Plan and manage hydraulic modelling of river systems, urban drainage, and water distribution networks.
• Prepare design reports, drawings, and specifications for water-related infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists, project managers, and clients in a remote setting to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Ensure designs comply with environmental regulations and water quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Demonstrable experience in the design and management of water and wastewater systems.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software (e.g., EPANET, InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS).
• Strong knowledge of water resource management principles, flood risk assessment, and drainage design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication for remote team collaboration.
• Familiarity with relevant UK water legislation and environmental protection policies.
