Water Resources Engineer - Sustainable Design (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses for drainage and flood risk management projects.
• Design sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS ) and conventional stormwater management solutions.
• Develop water resource management plans and strategies for resilience and conservation.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and environmental impact assessments related to water systems.
• Collaborate with remote project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies on water-related infrastructure.
• Utilize advanced modeling software for hydraulic analysis and water resource planning.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in water resources.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in water resources engineering, including flood risk assessment and drainage design.
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of sustainable drainage principles and techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
