Workshop Forklift Engineer - Sheffield

Job Title: Forklift Engineer Location: Near Sheffield (depot based) Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm Salary: £30,000–£40,000 basic + overtime

Ote: £35,625–£47,500

We are looking for a Workshop Engineer to join the team at our depot near Sheffield.

This is a hands-on workshop position within a busy team, so we are looking for someone who is confident working independently.

Your responsibilities will include: Servicing and maintaining a hire fleet of forklifts. Carrying out LOLER inspections and associated checks. Diagnosing and completing repairs and maintenance work. Working primarily on Combilift equipment. Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and is ready for hire. Working independently and managing your workload effectively. Supporting the wider workshop team as required. Experience you will need: Previous engineering experience working with forklifts, plant machinery or HGVs. Mechanical and fault-finding skills. Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance. LOLER inspection experience would be beneficial. The ability to work independently without requiring significant supervision. A practical, hands-on approach and a strong focus on quality and safety. Your Package: Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm Salary: £30,000–£40,000 basic + overtime OTE: £35,625–£47,500 (based on an average of 5 hours' overtime per week) Overtime: Paid at 1.5x Benefits: Health Cash plan, Life assurance cover, Company Pension, Employee benefits hub, Referral scheme. 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service)
