Workshop Supervisor (Day Shift)(Commercial Vehicle Worksop)
We currently have a vacancy for a Workshop Supervisor to join our busy Widnes Depot.
Shift Pattern - Monday to Thursday
06:00am to 16:30pm
Basic Salary = £46,000 to £48,838 + Bonus & Overtime (Opportunity to earn well into the 50's)
Workshop Supervisor Role
People Management
- Supervising technicians, apprentices, and workshop staff.
- Allocating work based on skill level and priorities.
- Monitoring attendance, timekeeping, and performance.
- Conducting toolbox talks and one-to-one meetings.
- Supporting training and development.
Workshop Operations
- Planning daily workflow and scheduling repairs.
- Ensuring work is completed on time and to manufacturer or company standards.
- Managing workshop capacity and resource allocation.
- Liaising with service advisors, parts departments, and fleet customers.
- Monitoring work-in-progress and removing bottlenecks.
Requirements
The core skills and qualifications required for a the Workshop Supervisor are:
- Appropriate technical qualifications.
- Time Served Tech or NVQ C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs
- MOT preparation experience
- Supervisory Experience in a Commercial Vehicle Worksop
