About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring and emotional support to young people.
• Assist young people in developing personal, social, and educational skills.
• Organise and deliver engaging group activities and workshops.
• Conduct outreach to engage with young people in various settings, including online platforms.
• Liaise with schools, families, and other support services to create a cohesive support network.
• Maintain accurate records of mentoring sessions and client progress.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people in a formal or informal setting.
• Strong understanding of youth development, mental health awareness, and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse groups of young people.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools for remote mentoring.
