Duties of the Bodyshop Technician:
* Perform metal repairs, dent removal, and preparation work on vehicles
* Assist with light painting and polishing tasks, with scope to learn painting techniques
* Handle general bodywork including MET work and vehicle preparation
* Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards
* Ensure repairs are completed to high standards with first-time fix principles
* Contribute to team efforts in maintaining insurer relationships and delivering quality workmanship
Requirements of the Bodyshop Technician:
* Genuine enthusiasm for vehicle repairs and a keen interest in bodyshop work
* Willingness to learn multiple repair disciplines with accuracy and attention to detail
* Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
* Prior experience in a bodyshop environment is advantageous but not essential
* Basic understanding of body repair techniques; painting experience is a plus
* Interest in developing skills further through industry training, including EV and ADAS systems
