Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene, always promoting dignity and respect.

• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
• Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the care manager.
• Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, or community events, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, observations, and any incidents, adhering to care plan requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an adult social care or similar support role is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• A caring, patient, and reliable nature with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to undertake required training, including safeguarding, first aid, and specific care needs.
