About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components and systems for aerospace applications, including structures, mechanisms, and thermal management systems.
• Perform detailed stress analysis, vibration analysis, and fatigue life calculations using advanced simulation tools.
• Ensure designs meet stringent aerospace regulations, safety requirements, and performance specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including avionics, materials, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate mechanical systems.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of aerospace mechanical components.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and manufacturing instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design within the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX) and structural analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN).
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and certification requirements.
• Experience with systems engineering principles and DO-160/MIL-STD testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setting.
