Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate aerospace systems, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
Conduct system analysis, simulation, and testing to validate system design and functionality.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
Develop technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and reports.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues encountered during development, testing, or operational phases.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to project teams.

Requirements

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in the aerospace or defense industry.
Strong understanding of system engineering principles, requirements management, and V&V processes.
Experience with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with avionics systems and aerospace standards is highly desirable for this role in Derby .
