Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate aerospace systems, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
- Conduct system analysis, simulation, and testing to validate system design and functionality.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Develop technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues encountered during development, testing, or operational phases.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to project teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Strong understanding of system engineering principles, requirements management, and V&V processes.
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with avionics systems and aerospace standards is highly desirable for this role in Derby .
