About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team in Coventry, West Midlands . This role is pivotal in the design, integration, and testing of complex aerospace systems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and integration of avionic, propulsion, or structural systems for new and existing aircraft platforms.
- Perform system modeling, simulation, and analysis to validate design performance and identify potential issues.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports for system verification and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure system compatibility.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of system requirements, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Investigate and resolve system anomalies and failures during development, testing, and operational phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies, such as DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar.
- Strong understanding of aerospace system lifecycles, including design, integration, verification, and validation.
- Experience with requirements management, system architecture, and interface definition.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, vital for collaborative work in Coventry .
