About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated AI Ethics Specialist to join their growing team in Bradford . In this critical role, you will help ensure that the company's AI development and deployment practices are responsible, fair, and transparent. You will work across departments, including research, legal, and product, to develop guidelines, conduct impact assessments, and promote ethical considerations in all AI initiatives. This position is essential for navigating the complex ethical landscape of artificial intelligence and maintaining public trust. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical frameworks and guidelines for AI development and deployment.
- Conduct ethical risk assessments and bias audits for AI systems and algorithms.
- Advise engineering and product teams on ethical implications of AI technologies.
- Stay informed about evolving AI ethics regulations, best practices, and research globally.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops on AI ethics for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal and policy teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field with an AI ethics focus.
- 3+ years of experience working with AI ethics, responsible AI, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their societal impacts.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ethical issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in developing policy or best practice guidelines is a plus.
