About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated AI Ethics Specialist to join their responsible AI initiative in Liverpool . In this crucial role, you will help shape the ethical development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability. You will work closely with AI researchers, engineers, legal teams, and policy makers to establish guidelines, conduct risk assessments, and promote best practices in AI ethics . This position is vital for embedding ethical considerations into the core of our client's AI development lifecycle and ensuring alignment with societal values regarding emerging technologies .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement frameworks, policies, and best practices for ethical AI development and deployment.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for new AI systems and applications.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on technology ethics.
• 3+ years of experience in a role focused on AI ethics , responsible technology, or policy.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including potential biases and fairness challenges.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable guidance for technical teams.
• Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
