This role is essential for ensuring the seamless interaction and functionality of various aircraft systems, from initial design through to final testing and certification. Key Responsibilities
- Define system architectures and requirements for the integration of diverse aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, power, propulsion, structures).
- Develop and execute integration test plans and procedures to verify system functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and work collaboratively with system experts to resolve technical challenges.
- Document system integration processes, test results, and performance data.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
- Liaise with design teams, manufacturing, and certification authorities throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Manage the configuration of integrated systems and their associated documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in aircraft systems integration engineering.
- Strong understanding of aircraft system interdependencies and communication protocols.
- Proficiency with systems engineering tools and methodologies.
- Experience with requirements management, system testing, and validation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with aviation certification processes (e.g., EASA, FAA).
