About the Role
Our client is recruiting a skilled Well Integrity Engineer to support their operations near Bristol, South West England . This crucial role focuses on ensuring the ongoing safety and reliability of wells throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing and implementing well integrity management systems, conducting risk assessments, and monitoring well performance to prevent leaks and ensure environmental protection. This position requires a proactive approach to asset integrity and a commitment to operational safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain well integrity management systems and procedures.
- Conduct well integrity assessments, risk analyses, and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor well performance data, including pressure tests and diagnostic logs.
- Specify and oversee well intervention activities, such as repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with well integrity regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with drilling, production, and maintenance teams to address integrity issues.
Requirements
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in well integrity engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of well components, failure mechanisms, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with well integrity software and data management systems.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices for well integrity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in Bristol .
