About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer to join their team in Cambridge . This hybrid role involves working closely with various engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of complex aircraft systems. You will be responsible for defining interfaces, managing system interactions, and verifying that all components work together harmoniously to meet performance and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage interfaces between different aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, power, hydraulics, flight controls).
- Develop system integration plans, requirements, and verification strategies.
- Conduct system-level testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Collaborate with specialists from various domains to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Analyze system behavior and performance data to optimize integration and identify potential improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, interfaces, and integration processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in aircraft systems engineering, with a focus on integration and interdependency.
- Understanding of various aircraft systems and their interactions.
- Proficiency with systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., DOORS, SysML).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
