About the Role

Our client, a reputable organisation in Edinburgh , is seeking a dedicated and technically inclined individual to join them as an Apprentice IT Support Technician . Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware , software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to operating systems (e.g., Windows , macOS), applications, and network connectivity.
• Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access to IT resources.
• Help maintain IT inventory and asset management records.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to the IT knowledge base.

Requirements

• A strong interest in IT and a foundational understanding of computer systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Good problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
