About the Role
Our client is seeking a technically inclined and eager Apprentice Network Engineer to join their IT infrastructure team in Edinburgh . Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Monitor network performance and identify potential issues or bottlenecks.
- Provide technical support to users for network-related problems.
- Learn and implement network security best practices under supervision.
- Help document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in projects related to network upgrades and improvements.
Requirements
- A strong interest in computer networking and IT infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is beneficial.
