About the Role

Our client requires a skilled and safety-conscious Arborist to join their dedicated team providing expert tree care services in and around Bradford . This role involves the comprehensive management of trees, including planting, maintenance, pruning, and removal, ensuring the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of urban and rural landscapes. You will be working outdoors in various conditions, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques. This is a hands-on position for an individual passionate about arboriculture and committed to upholding the highest standards of tree health and public safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tree climbing, pruning, and shaping to maintain tree health and structure.
• Safely fell trees using appropriate techniques and equipment, including dismantling when necessary.
• Conduct detailed tree surveys and assessments, identifying diseases, pests, and structural defects.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, and other arborist equipment.
• Advise clients on tree care, species selection, and potential risks.

Requirements

• Certification or qualification in Arboriculture (e.g., NPTC).
• Proven experience working as a professional arborist.
• Proficiency in tree climbing techniques and safe use of related equipment.
• Knowledge of tree diseases, pests, and identification.
• Valid UK driving license is essential.
