About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Athletic Performance Analyst to join their remote team. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing athlete performance by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting performance data from various sources. This fully remote position allows you to contribute to elite sports teams and individual athletes without geographical constraints. Your insights will directly influence training methodologies, tactical decisions, and injury prevention strategies, making a significant impact on athletic success across a variety of disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze performance data from training sessions, matches, and physiological monitoring tools.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends and patterns in athlete performance.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to coaches, athletes, and performance staff to optimize training and game strategies.
- Develop and maintain databases for tracking athlete progress and key performance indicators.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings and strategic implications.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data collection methods.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Athletic Performance Analyst or similar data analysis role in sports.
- Strong understanding of sports science principles and athletic development.
- Proficiency with data analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with wearable technology and performance tracking software is advantageous.
