About the Role

Our client, a specialist in industrial automation solutions, is seeking an accomplished Automation Electrical Engineer to join their innovative team in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK . This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of automated control systems for manufacturing and process industries. Key Responsibilities

Design and specify electrical control panels, including component selection, wiring, and layout.
Develop and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) design.
Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automated systems on-site and remotely.
Ensure all electrical designs and installations meet relevant safety standards (e.g., BS EN 60204).
Collaborate with software engineers and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Provide technical support to clients and assist in the development of operational procedures.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI software.
Solid understanding of electrical schematics, motor control, and safety circuits.
Experience with robotic systems integration is a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to task management.
