Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical control panels, including component selection, wiring, and layout.
- Develop and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) design.
- Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automated systems on-site and remotely.
- Ensure all electrical designs and installations meet relevant safety standards (e.g., BS EN 60204).
- Collaborate with software engineers and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Provide technical support to clients and assist in the development of operational procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI software.
- Solid understanding of electrical schematics, motor control, and safety circuits.
- Experience with robotic systems integration is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to task management.
