About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and customer-focused Automotive Parts Specialist to join their dealership in Cardiff . In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing and supplying automotive parts to technicians and retail customers, and providing expert advice on part selection. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the service department and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient parts management in Cardiff .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory of automotive parts, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and dispatching.
• Identify and source correct parts for vehicle repairs and customer requests using catalogues and computer systems.
• Provide technical advice and support to technicians and customers regarding parts compatibility and availability.
• Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, inventory levels, and sales.
• Process customer orders and payments efficiently and accurately.
• Assist in stock takes and inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an automotive parts department or a similar inventory management role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and electronic parts catalogues.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
