About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Specialist to join their busy dealership in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is vital for ensuring customers and technicians have access to the correct, high-quality parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance. You will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers, and liaising with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive components and a dedication to providing excellent service within the automotive retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and supply correct automotive parts and accessories to customers and internal technicians.
• Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular stock takes to ensure accuracy.
• Process parts orders efficiently using dealership management systems and maintain detailed records.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on parts to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an automotive parts department or a similar retail parts role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and common automotive components.
• Familiarity with parts cataloguing systems and inventory management software.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport.
