Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyze automotive powertrain components and systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, electric drivetrains).
• Perform performance simulations and calculations to optimize efficiency, power output, and emissions.
• Conduct rigorous testing of powertrain components and complete systems, analyzing results and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers on component specifications, development, and validation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and environmental standards.
• Troubleshoot powertrain issues encountered during development, testing, or production phases.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive powertrain development or engineering.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, or electric vehicle powertrains.
• Proficiency in powertrain simulation software (e.g., GT-SUITE, MATLAB/Simulink) is highly desirable.
• Experience with powertrain testing procedures and data analysis.
