About the Role

Our client is seeking a customer-focused and organised Automotive Service Advisor to manage customer relationships and service bookings at their busy dealership in Cardiff . You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless experience from booking their vehicle in for service or repair to its collection. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanour, and a solid understanding of automotive services. You will play a vital part in customer satisfaction and the operational efficiency of the service department, acting as the crucial link between the customer and the workshop team in a dynamic automotive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, assessing their vehicle needs and booking appointments.
• Accurately record customer requests and vehicle details in the service management system.
• Explain service recommendations and repair estimates clearly to customers.
• Liaise effectively with the workshop technicians to provide updates and confirm repair progress.
• Ensure efficient workflow through the service department, managing technician allocation.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback with empathy and professionalism.
• Process invoices and payments accurately upon vehicle collection.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the automotive industry .
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A basic understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes is beneficial.
