About the Role
Our client is looking for a customer-focused and organised Automotive Service Advisor to join their dealership in Plymouth . You will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service or repair, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from booking to collection. This role requires excellent communication skills, a good understanding of automotive services, and the ability to build rapport with clients. You will work closely with the workshop team to accurately convey customer needs and service requirements, acting as a crucial link in the Plymouth service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, understanding their vehicle service needs.
- Book appointments efficiently and accurately using the dealership's management system.
- Explain service recommendations and repair estimates clearly to customers.
- Upsell additional services and products where appropriate and beneficial to the customer.
- Liaise effectively with automotive technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Process service orders and payments, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction upon vehicle collection.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and address any customer queries or complaints promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- A good understanding of automotive terminology and basic mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in using dealership management software.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
