About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and experienced Bar Manager to lead their vibrant bar operations in Oxford . You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the bar, including staff supervision, inventory management, cocktail creation, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Develop and maintain an innovative and appealing beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Manage inventory, control stock levels, and conduct regular stocktakes to minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards, handling guest feedback and resolving issues promptly.
• Control costs and manage the bar's budget to achieve profitability targets.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior supervisory role within a busy bar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with inventory management and cost control.
• Personal Licence holder or willingness to obtain one.
