Bar Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a charismatic and experienced Bar Manager to take charge of their popular bar in Wolverhampton . This role is responsible for all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, staff training, customer service, and ensuring a vibrant and safe atmosphere. You will lead a team of bartenders and bar staff, driving sales and maintaining the highest standards of beverage service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a strong understanding of stock control, and the ability to create an exceptional customer experience in the heart of Wolverhampton .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all daily bar operations, including staffing, inventory, and service.
• Develop and maintain an innovative and appealing drink menu, including cocktails and specials.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability.
• Train and mentor bar staff on beverage preparation, service standards, and responsible alcohol service.
• Ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all patrons, adhering to licensing laws.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and contribute to the overall financial success of the bar.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with inventory management and cost control.
• Relevant licensing qualifications (e.g., Personal License Holder).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
