About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Biostatistician to contribute to the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials and research studies. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your statistical expertise to drive critical decision-making in drug development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical researchers, data managers, and medical writers, to ensure the robust statistical integrity of our projects. The ideal candidate is proficient in statistical programming languages and possesses a deep understanding of statistical methodologies applicable to pharmaceutical research.
Key Responsibilities
- Design clinical trial protocols, ensuring appropriate statistical methodologies and sample size calculations.
- Perform statistical analysis of clinical trial data using SAS, R, or similar statistical software.
- Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and generate tables, figures, and listings for reports.
- Interpret statistical results and contribute to the writing of clinical study reports (CSRs) and publications.
- Collaborate with data management to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Provide statistical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the drug development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as SAS (mandatory) and R.
- Solid understanding of clinical trial design and statistical methodologies for analyzing clinical data.
- Experience with regulatory submissions and guidelines (e.g., ICH).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication abilities.
