About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and vigilant Blockchain Security Analyst to join their dedicated team in Reading . This role is critical for ensuring the integrity and safety of their blockchain operations and decentralized applications. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and implementing robust security measures to protect against threats in the dynamic crypto environment. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp analytical mind, a deep understanding of blockchain security principles, and a proactive approach to safeguarding digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of smart contracts and blockchain protocols.
Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
Develop and implement security best practices and policies for blockchain development and operations.
Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and provide incident response recommendations.
Stay informed about the latest security threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies in the crypto and blockchain space.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in blockchain security.
In-depth knowledge of smart contract security vulnerabilities and best practices for prevention.
Experience with security auditing tools and techniques for blockchain systems.
Understanding of cryptographic principles and network security protocols.
Familiarity with various blockchain platforms and consensus mechanisms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
