About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Blockchain Security Analyst to join their team in Milton Keynes . In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks associated with blockchain platforms, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and safety of our client's digital assets and infrastructure within the Crypto & Blockchain domain. You will work closely with development teams to implement robust security measures and respond to potential threats, safeguarding our client's reputation and user trust.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct security audits and penetration testing on blockchain networks and smart contracts.
Identify vulnerabilities in smart contract code and propose remediation strategies.
Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
Develop and implement security protocols and best practices for blockchain environments.
Investigate security incidents and provide detailed post-mortem analysis and recommendations.
Collaborate with developers to integrate security measures throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in blockchain security.
Strong understanding of smart contract security principles and common vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow).
Proficiency in security auditing tools and techniques relevant to blockchain technology.
Experience with code analysis, threat modeling, and risk assessment for distributed systems.
Knowledge of cryptography and its application in securing blockchain transactions.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate security risks clearly in Milton Keynes .
