About the Role
Our client, a significant player in the FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Brand Marketing Manager to lead brand initiatives and drive growth from their Reading office. This senior role requires a deep understanding of brand strategy, consumer insights, and integrated marketing communications to build strong brand equity and market presence. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand plans, overseeing product launches, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term brand strategies and annual marketing plans to achieve business objectives for assigned brands.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, consumer research, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and positioning strategies.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all relevant channels, including digital, traditional media, and in-store promotions.
- Manage the brand's P&L, including budget setting, forecasting, and ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive profitable growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, R&D, Operations) and external agencies to ensure cohesive brand execution and successful product launches.
- Monitor brand performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in the Reading market.
- Act as the primary brand guardian, ensuring all brand communications and activities are aligned with brand guidelines and values within the FMCG industry .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in brand management, with a strong focus on the FMCG industry .
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful brands and marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic actions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and working with cross-functional teams.
