About the Role
Our client, a leading organisation in the Charity & Voluntary sector, is looking for an experienced and innovative Charity Events Manager to join their dynamic team, with a focus on events within Wolverhampton . This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and promotion of a diverse range of fundraising events, from large-scale galas to community-focused initiatives. You will be instrumental in maximising income generation and raising awareness for the organisation's important cause. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy to meet fundraising and engagement targets.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, logistics, venue selection, and supplier negotiation.
- Oversee the execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and a high-quality experience for attendees.
- Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to drive ticket sales and event participation.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with sponsors, donors, and key stakeholders.
- Evaluate event success, reporting on outcomes and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Events Manager, preferably within the Charity & Voluntary sector.
- Demonstrated success in planning and delivering successful fundraising events.
- Strong budgeting, project management, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Creative and innovative approach to event design and execution.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a remote or hybrid capacity, with travel to Wolverhampton as needed.
