Chemical Process Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes for new product introductions and existing product improvements.
• Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to validate and refine process designs.
• Perform process hazard analyses (PHAs) and ensure safety compliance.
• Generate process documentation, including mass and energy balances, PFDs, and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development and scale-up.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of reaction engineering, separation processes, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with HAZOP studies and process safety management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
