Childminder - Part-time

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and caring Childminder to provide flexible part-time care for their young child in Cardiff . This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and home-like environment where the child can thrive socially and developmentally. You will be responsible for the child's daily care, including preparing meals, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their overall well-being. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childminder to offer dedicated care within a family setting, working closely with parents to meet the child's specific needs and routines, contributing to their happy and healthy upbringing in the heart of Wales .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, warm, and stimulating environment for the child.
• Plan and engage in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities.
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks.
• Ensure the child's hygiene and well-being are maintained throughout the day.
• Maintain open and honest communication with the parents regarding the child's day.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Childminder or in a similar childcare role.
• Knowledge of child development and safety regulations.
• First Aid certification (Paediatric).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine love for working with children.
