About the Role

Our client is seeking a professional and caring Childminder to provide exceptional home-based childcare services in the Manchester area. This role requires creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop at their own pace. You will be responsible for planning a range of engaging activities, managing daily routines, and ensuring the highest standards of care. This is an independent role for an individual passionate about early childhood development and committed to building strong relationships with families, offering flexible and personalized childcare solutions within a home setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating, and loving home environment for children.
• Plan and deliver a variety of age-appropriate activities, including outings and educational play.
• Manage children's daily routines, including feeding, napping, and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development, progress, and any significant incidents.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents about their child's well-being and activities.

Requirements

• Must hold or be willing to obtain relevant childminding qualifications (e.g., Home-based Childcare Level 3).
• Registered with Ofsted or equivalent regulatory body.
• First Aid certification and up-to-date safeguarding training.
• Demonstrable experience in caring for children of various ages.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a household with children.
