Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the design of highway schemes, including junction improvements, road widening, and new road alignments.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Liaise with local authorities, statutory bodies, and utility companies to gain necessary approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contribute to the bidding process.
• Ensure all designs and works comply with relevant national and local standards and policies.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in highway design and transportation engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential; experience with traffic modelling software is a plus.
• Good knowledge of DMRB (Design Manual for Roads and Bridges) standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
