Key Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed design for infrastructure schemes, including road layouts, public realm works, and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, and specifications using relevant design software.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess existing conditions.
• Collaborate with other disciplines, including environmental consultants and transport planners, to integrate designs.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and evaluation of contractor submissions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and best practices in civil engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in civil infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
• Familiarity with drainage design software and principles of SuDS.
• Good understanding of UK highway design standards and planning requirements.
