Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including road networks, drainage systems, and site infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and assessments to gather necessary project data.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and project success.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in infrastructure design, particularly in road design and drainage systems .
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and environmental considerations.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it is highly desirable.
