About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Civil Engineer with a strong focus on Project Management to join their growing team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role will involve managing various civil engineering projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of project execution, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of diverse civil engineering projects.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project workflow.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Communicate project updates and status reports to management and clients regularly.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering with exposure to project coordination or management.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software (e.g., MS Project).
- Good understanding of construction processes, regulations, and site safety.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote tasks.
