Our client is seeking a motivated Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their well-established team in Sheffield . This role involves the design and implementation of essential infrastructure projects, including drainage systems, highways, and utilities, contributing to the development and improvement of local communities. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop plans for infrastructure projects such as roads, sewers, and public realm works.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning.
- Ensure designs meet all regulatory requirements, including building regulations and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery from inception to completion.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and construction teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant drainage design software (e.g., MicroDrainage).
- Good understanding of UK infrastructure standards and planning processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a hybrid working model.
