Civil Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team in Norwich . This role offers the chance to work on a variety of exciting infrastructure projects, including highways, public realm improvements, and utilities. You will be involved in the detailed design, project coordination, and site supervision, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility within Norfolk .

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the detailed design of civil infrastructure elements, including roads, pavements, and drainage.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, consultants, and contractors to ensure project integration.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety during construction phases.
• Assist in the development of project proposals and fee estimates.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UK design standards and building regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure design and/or site supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant civil engineering design software.
• Good understanding of highway design, drainage principles, and CDM regulations .
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage project tasks independently.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
