Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations into potentially fraudulent or complex insurance claims, gathering factual evidence through interviews, document review, and background checks.
• Analyse claim data and investigative findings to assess liability, policy coverage, and potential for subrogation.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations for claim resolution.
• Collaborate with internal claims handlers, legal teams, and external agencies to manage claims effectively and prevent losses.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investigation techniques, fraud trends, and relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in claims investigation, fraud detection, or a similar investigative role within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policy wordings, and investigation procedures.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interviewing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and gather information effectively remotely.
• Proficiency in digital investigation tools and the ability to manage a caseload autonomously.
