Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their dynamic clinical operations team based in Birmingham . You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials by monitoring study sites, ensuring data integrity, and adhering to regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of life-changing therapies, working in a collaborative environment that values patient safety and scientific excellence. You will be an essential link between the investigational sites and the sponsor, ensuring trials run smoothly and efficiently within the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts site visits (initiation, monitoring, close-out) according to study protocols and SOPs.
• Verifies accuracy, completeness, and compliance of clinical trial data with regulatory requirements and protocol.
• Ensures patient safety and rights are protected at all investigational sites.
• Manages and resolves data queries in collaboration with site staff and data management teams.
• Assists in the selection and qualification of new clinical trial sites.
• Maintains comprehensive and accurate site and study documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or equivalent role.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Proven experience in monitoring clinical trial sites and managing study conduct.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to investigational sites across the UK, including Birmingham and surrounding areas.
