About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Clinical Trial Manager to oversee the execution of clinical trials within their pharmaceutical research division in Plymouth . This leadership role involves the planning, implementation, and successful completion of clinical studies, ensuring they are conducted according to protocol, regulatory standards, and budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and ensure the highest quality of data and patient safety. This hybrid position allows for effective collaboration with team members and site personnel while maintaining a degree of flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive clinical trial plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage all aspects of study conduct, from site selection and initiation to monitoring and close-out.
- Lead and motivate study teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee CROs and other third-party vendors to ensure adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH) and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trial management in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex clinical trials from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, regulatory guidelines, and clinical trial operations.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills for coordinating activities in Plymouth and beyond.
