About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to lead the design and development of innovative commercial projects. This fully remote role allows you to leverage your expertise in designing retail spaces, offices, and mixed-use developments from anywhere, contributing to projects managed from Norwich, Norfolk . You will be responsible for translating client briefs into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and commercially successful architectural solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for commercial projects, from conceptualization to construction documentation.
- Develop creative and practical design solutions that meet client objectives and market demands.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, planning regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, developers, engineers, and other consultants in a remote setting.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations for client and stakeholder approval.
- Oversee the design development stages, ensuring constructability and value engineering.
Requirements
- Registered Architect with a strong portfolio of commercial design projects.
- Demonstrated experience in designing office buildings, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit , AutoCAD, and visualization tools.
- Understanding of commercial real estate market trends and client business needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills for remote interaction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a remote work environment.
