About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Banking Manager to lead their branch operations in Norwich . This leadership role is responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of banking professionals, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to commercial clients. You will play a key part in developing strategic initiatives, managing loan portfolios, and fostering strong client relationships within the local business community. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of relationship managers and banking staff to achieve performance targets.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and profitability in the Norwich area.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for cross-selling services.
• Oversee the underwriting and approval process for commercial loans, ensuring sound risk management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and industry partners.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial banking, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven track record in business development, loan origination, and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
