About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Communications Director to lead their communications strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of internal and external communications, including media relations, public affairs, social media, and crisis management. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with organizational goals and values.
- Lead and manage the communications team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Oversee all media relations activities, including press releases, media outreach, and spokesperson training.
- Manage crisis communications, developing and executing response plans to protect the organization's reputation.
- Direct internal communications efforts to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
- Monitor industry trends and public discourse, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior Communications leadership role, with a strong understanding of media, PR, and public affairs.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies at a high level.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
